Wedding trends in 2019
2019 is all set with the new advancements in the wedding industry, having a lot more in store as compared to the last year. We have put together some of the biggest trends which you will see everywhere when your loved ones tie knots in 2019.
Wedding Color Trends
Colors are going to be bold and bright, and will take a starring role in everything from floral arrangements to bridesmaid dresses. Deep colors like purple, orange & yellow are gaining a lot of attraction for 2019. However, you can see a mix of all sorts of tropical colors from vibrant pinks to stunning oranges, deep greens to striking blues. These colors tend to give the set-up and the theme an added drama and excitement.
In 2018, we have seen an increase in the number of couples choosing single color theme, violet weddings being an example. Moving into 2019 however, we can see a trend towards various shades of a single color being more popular. Projected color schemes that are out for 2019 includes purple & silver, black & white, neutral color combos, green & earth tones, metallic, all whites etc.
The wedding day is the most special day of a couple’s life, but it can prove to be a wasteful one too. But be happy that ecofriendly has finally reached weddings. Weddings will be plastic free, and couples will use flowers that can be replanted. This is so in line with the need of the hour.
Experience is the key
Brides & Grooms in 2019 are no longer choosing suppliers to work for their weddings instead they are looking forward to work with suppliers who create a journey and experience for all the guests to enjoy. This can be anything from scenting invitations to immersive decoration, wallpaper accents, etc.
Today’s couples are tapped into the food and beverage more than ever, emphasizing food being the center of any celebration. As organics and sustainable ingredients become more available, lots of couple want to have at least one green course on their wedding menus. Caterers are thinking more towards the line of organic & farm fresh foods.
On the other hand, taster menus are a very fashionable trend in wedding catering, although they can be more expensive than the name would suggest. The guests would be served with a variety of mini courses and bite sized foods which are usually fairly exotic, and allow them to taste a variety of dishes without filling them up.
Weddings in 2019 will see a revival of traditional classics elements. Beginning from bridal dresses and jewelry, wedding design and décor trends, wedding gifts, etc. We can see many millennial brides opting for traditional dresses over the modern ones. We recently witnessed Isha Ambani’s wedding dress featuring a piece from her mother’s wedding attire. Wedding jewelry will witness some ancient revolving trends with graceful designs. Multi-layer gold necklace with red outfit is the ideal perception to think about a traditional Indian bride.
